I am Åsa, a London based multi-disciplinary Swedish Designer & Illustrator with twelve years of experience from working in-house, and on freelance basis, on a wide range of projects ranging from illustration for print, apparel and products, to packaging, murals, exhibitions and children's books.
I am a versatile designer with experience of designing for various age groups and customers and taking a project from an idea to a final product; concept, art direction, product development, graphic design, art working, surface design and packaging design.
Humour, nature, play and childhood nostalgia are important ingredients in my work and my speciality is character design, products for children, packaging, generating new ideas and concepts, and art direction.
In 2020 I started Studio Kavall, a studio focused completely on playful design for children.
